*NEW FEATURE!* I started working on heahy again and added Search feature. There aren't that many channels rn but it's going to be pretty useful later on. Tags now also are not completely useless. If you click on tag you will be redirected to search. The next thing I plan to work on is improvements on personal library and tags (with search and filtering use case). I see heahy is currently used that way by people - uploading/saving on public channels or saving/collecting to private libraries so I will try to improve this use case further.

*Long Time no See.* I haven't updated on what's going on Heahy for a while now. Mainly I slowly do various improvements and now I can announce a big new feature that already exists. Now you can not only chat but also have p2p audio or video calls. In DMs and private groups now you can find *Start call* button which will create a new call where people can join. For now max is 8 peers because it's pure p2p, there are no central servers. It can also be enabled on public chat channels in settings. It's a new feature so if you notice something is not working or have any suggestions let me know here.

Kora Peters, aka Kora Cummings, adult film star, who claims to "have more morals than the people in my community, county, and state" wishes to infringe on the human rights of 16 and 17-year-olds by banning them from all sex whatsoever. And why you ask? To make sure they do not enter the adult film industry, apparently. Somehow it did not occur to Ms. Peters or Cummings that it is already illegal for 16 and 17-year-olds to be in such films. It may also have never occurred to her that pornography and private sexual conduct are not one in the same. Most U.S. states - for good reason I might add - at least grant that 16 year olds deserve the benefit of the doubt that their privacy in the bedroom should be respected. If only this activist with her ten signature petition would also come to this realization.

Hello, just quick update on some Heahy news and what I am working on. First of all in Discovery I added a new category - New channels. If you create your own and post some content there send me a message and I will add your channel there. You can also announce it in @random or @heahychat so people check it out. Another deal - if you post content consistently I might add your channel to followed by default for new users. Now what I am working on. 3 things are coming up: 1. Heahy's own reactions library - both personal favorites and publishing to everyone. 2. Chat match portal - find a friend to talk to directly. Create your own poster and match or be matched in 24 hours. 3. Android mobile app. Once all these are ready I will start a bit of promotion to try to find more users. Stay tuned!

To address the heart of the term "MAP", what is a "minor" anyway? By some social definitions, a 24-year-old is a "minor" by virtue of not being able to rent a car. Is this particular age group off the table for dating by the car rental-enabled community thanks to their industry-imposed contractual handicap and the oft-mentioned "power imbalance" this imposes? By other social definitions, a 16-year-old is not a "minor" because they can work a wage-earning tax-paying job and apply for emancipation. Is it then "wrong" to be attracted to one if they suddenly quit their stint at Circle K? But this quibbling over the inconsistencies in the cultural cachet of "minor" is beside the point - how is someone's attraction to someone else dependent on a legal status? "Oh man, I'm really hot for a guy because he's legally forbidden from drinking alcohol." Seriously? That's just as plausible as hearing, "Whassup, hot stuff, that IR5 visa is making you extra spicy today!" Being attracted to someone because of a legal status concocted by some politicians long ago sounds like an offbeat fetish for autistic nerds. Do we have other terms for attraction to other people with special legal statuses? Probation Attracted Persons, or PAPs? Subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice Attracted Persons, or UCMJAPs? As for me, I am not any kind of chronophile. A woman can be 16, 36, 66, whatever, and if she's attractive in body, personality, intelligence, and temperament, I don't care how old she is. A spirited rejection of current society's intellectually lazy and harmful fixation on age and its relationship to romantic relationships is what started this very subreddit! As "minor" is a laughably inconsistent legal fiction concocted for the sake of administrative convenience, and especially a fiction the way "minor" is often used on the internet, so too are "minor attracted persons" fictional. One would do well to reject yet another ill-advised identity marker that reifies a legal status category and cultural catch-all that is riddled with injustice.

You can upload reactions for personal use or publish them for everyone. To save space and bandwidth, only MP4/WebM videos are allowed - but if you have a GIF, you can convert it directly in your browser. If you're publishing reactions for others, please use tools like Google Reverse Image Search to add as much context and relevant tags as possible so your content is easy to find. One reason I built this “last feature” is because I've personally collected a lot of reactions and needed a better way to organize them. Reactions are a core part of internet culture, and having full control over them can be a real advantage. There's also the issue of Tenor potentially shutting down, and the alternatives are either uncertain or not great. Long-term, there's potential for heahy to offer an API and become one of those alternatives. That said, the reactions feature is still raw and largely untested. I'm releasing it early so people can try it out. Over the next few days, I'll be fixing bugs, filling in missing features, and integrating it into heahy's posting flow. Depending on feedback, an API might follow. You might also notice a “Tip” button - yes, that's intentional. Supporting content creators is part of the long-term plan, and reactions will likely be one of the first areas to get it. If you publish early, there's a chance it could pay off later. Anyway, give it a try - upload your own reactions, save favorites, or publish something for everyone to use.
